Boca Juniors Wins Copa Argentina on Penalties
Boca Juniors defeated Talleres Cordoba 5-4 on penalties to win the 2021 Copa Argentina, claiming their ninth title in the competition.

Talleres Cordoba were appearing in their first Copa Argentina final, and they gave Boca a good run for their money. They had the better chances in the first half, but Boca goalkeeper Agustin Rossi made a number of key saves to keep them out.
The second half was more even, but neither team could find a breakthrough. The match went to a penalty shootout, and Boca ultimately prevailed. It was a disappointing end for Talleres Cordoba, but they can be proud of their performance in the final.
